Friends I have a problem.
I have a Dell Tablet Streak7 that uses the Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
I also have a Nokia phone (E63 which uses Symbian). I installed the Nokia software JoikuSpot that transforms your phone into a hotspot. How I've got the freeware software, the network is open, JoikuSpot has created without any security.
I don't know if it is this characteristic that makes it not recognized by my tablet. That is, Streak not detects that network. I checked on mobile phones of friends and all detect the wifi network created by Nokia.
My question is: Is it possible to modify the configuration of the Dell wifi Honeycomb Streak and thus allow it to recognize any type of network? Or perhaps the tablet does not recognize the wifi network created by the phone for some other reason?
Thank you.
