Hello AndroidPit!

I know there are hundreds of To Do List applications already submitted to the Play Store, however many of them that I found were too cluttered with features, or had a very unappealing layout.

Because of this, I decided to create Multi List! Its themed to look like an ICS for all phones, regardless of your Android version. This is my first Android project so I would really appreciate your feedback and suggestions. You can email me at tyler@informaticsdev.com. Before creating this app, the only programming experience I had was with Python and PHP with MYSQL. I'm currently a student at Indiana University in the School of Informatics program, and I spent a portion of this current semester learning Java and Android. I created this application as a class final project, but I will continually work on making Multi List better.

Here is the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.informaticsdev.multilist

I have gotten some positive feedback and suggestions from XDA, and I just released an updated version so I thought it may be time to spread it a little more. The semester is now complete and I have more time to work on it, so I will consider any suggestion you can throw at me!

Thank you!

Thank you! If you have an Android version < 3.0, I will soon have a new update that makes the application look identical to a 4.0 ICS device, such as the better title bar.

1.8 Released! Huge update!

ICS action bar now used not only on ics but all android versions!
Ability to rename checklist item added.
If you are not using ICS I would greatly appreciate feedback! I have a limited device set to test.

Ahh I want the Nexus. I've got a GSII Epic Touch running a CM9 alpha. It runs stable but battery life is pretty bad. All phones should look exactly like my screenshots running the app.

Looks great on my Droid Bionic running 2.3. I wish when you were adding items to the lists, that when ever you click add, it would automatically open the onscreen keyboard for the next item. Instead of clicking on the enter item line to get the keyboard up.

Edit - I see now the action bar is not showing. My screen looks like the screen shots in your first post, not your 4th post. I'm running 2.3.4 Droid Bionic, I believe it has motorola blur on it.

For your first comment. I actually added in the code for the keyboard to hide after each entry. But I think you are right that it should stay up. I'll add that for the next release! I did that at first because I didn't like the keyboard taking up the screen all the time, even though it can be closed with the back button.

And if your screen looks like the first post that is still the ice cream sandwich bar. In order to see an "action" to edit or delete, you must either long press (home screen) or quick press (checklist screen).

Here is an image of what the app would look like with the standard Gingerbread bar.

Oh, I see now. It has the ICS look then. Another thing, could you make the order of the items in the list arrangeable? I'd like to order the items, even after I've entered them.
