Error message in my music on Samsung Galaxy 3 "this item no longer available"

When I sync my Samsung Galaxy 3 to Windows Media Player on my laptop I am able to transfer music files but they will not play. When I try to play them on my phone it says "this item no longer available". Any one got any ideas? Is the Galaxy 3 compatable with WMP? Phone syncs no problem but will not play files sent from my laptop.

Are you trying to use the default music player, as windows media might not play so well with the Android music player. Have you tried playing the files in a different music app to see if that's the problem?
