Today is World Photography Day - where people across the globe are invited to use a new type of Camera app, Slider Cam, for celebration of the art of photography. As the WPD website explains:
World Photography Day originates from the invention of the Daguerreotype, a photographic processes developed by Louis Daguerre. On January 9, 1839, the French Academy of Sciences announced the Daguerreotype process. A few months later, on August 19, 1839, the French government announced the invention as a gift "free to the world".
Slider Cam is a camera app featuring magical "Timeline Lens", designed to rewind the photo shot when you miss a shot, rewind the sections of photographs and take your pick from the previous seconds worth of frames. It captures those “magic moments” that you miss by not hitting the camera shutter quick enough.
