According to zdnet,Acer is planning to undercut the pricing of the Amazon Kindle Fire and other 7-inch competitors with a new model next year, but there are no official plans to bring it to the U.S. It only costs $99.

My friend earlier just bought an Acer phone, Acer Liquid E2. It's not cheap though, it costs him around $200 in new condition. I've also seen many good quality Acer tablets, especially the ones with Tegra SoC. But at that $99 price range, i have doubts this tablet is gonna be great. I've already seen Acer Iconia Tab A110 which runs Tegra 3 SoC and it's really great, despite having Tegra 3. I also heard the battery life only lasts a half day in one full charge.
