Both are really good, but I prefer Android. I don't like Apple's limitations.

Android is definitely taking over, but as its been said, Apple is a status symbol, however I would mention that where I live HTC Android phones are also considered almost as a status symbol as well... so I would say Android is winning :D

Like em both. Android is highly configurable (use it myself), but Apple is just so clean and nice looking (for my GF).

Both great devices.

Nothing will win. At the end of this battle, 2 will become one, transformed to the best.

But obvious android is the winner, as it is so user-friendly and it is affordable for any individual. Unlike "iPhone"

Android has the best attributes, but many people likes simplicity that's why they choose iOS. ;)

From a developer's point of view, Android versus iOS translates to World vs iOS. Apple won't be able to cope in the long run. The signs are already here: El Capitan, their new operating system after Yosemite.

I think after the introduction of Android N, Android will soon beat iOS as many features of iOS are introduced into Android N which gives same feel as that of those iPhones.

It is a typical question but I found easier to operate Android phone that iOS. Android phones are affordable in price also.
