Guys, we just shipped out V2.0 of our social music sharing app - #nwplyng
To give you a brief background, #nwplyng is a social music sharing application with gamification and real world incentives. It enables you to explicitly share your favorite songs with friends and family. With each share, you have the option to add context through a YouTube video, location, picture and comment. Additionally, there is a layer of gamification that sits right on top of music sharing to incentivize the users. You unlock records, become manager of your favorite artists and level up for playing around with the app.
We believe that where you at & what you are seeing play a crucial role in music consumption habits. It's no coincidence that Lady Gaga comes from quirky New York City, Red Hot Chili Peppers hail from sunny upbeat Los Angeles, Radiohead from somewhat cold depressive London & most of death metal from sun-starved Norther Europe.
Hope you guys get a chance to check the app out, and give me your invaluable feedback.
Much thanks,
Utsav
