I have a Samsung galaxy s2 and a nexus (first gen) and would like to root them but have no idea how to, could some 1 help me please. Thanks

Rooting may be fun, but also you may disturb your device (especially when you dont get a thing in it).
What do you need it for? Maybe it is better not to root?
