I was unsure where to start so if this question needs moved to another forum please do so.
I work at a regional carrier called Revol in Ohio and Indiana we flash over CDMA phones using a service called houdini (www.houdinisoft.com) My question is if I buy a generic spec phone from china would I be able to flash the phone onto revol service. We are only 3G CDMA so changing a SIM card wont work
I spoke to Houdini customer service and they said it should work that most problems are getting around the blocks the big carriers have programmed into the phone. But I don't think they know how flashing a phone works at the developer level.
The phone would have stock android on it and be unlocked.
Is it possible to put a generic phone onto a local service?
