How to convert any normal image to HD quality image

Hi,
I'm new to android world. I'm developing android app with Windows, Eclipse and Android 2.3 version. I'm trying to develop one application which would convert any normal image to HD quality image. Does android have any libraries to convert to HD quality or better than that ?

Hello,

What you are trying do achieve doesn't make any sense.
If the original content doesn't have enough quality, there is no way to improve the quality.
The other way around though, is obviously possible. You can have HD quality images and scale them down.

Scaling up always produces less quality images.

Thanks for reply. I'm just trying if there is any such option. But there are some applications in online which converts normal image to HD image,but not in android. So i tried to do in android. Do you have any other idea to achieve this ?
