Hi guys,
Here is how to get rid of your devices within Google Play if you don't use that specific one anymore.
Voila! You are done and now have a much clearer overview of all your devices and the apps that are installed on them!
Here is how to get rid of your devices within Google Play if you don't use that specific one anymore.
- Open the Google Play Store in your web browser and click the small ''gear'' icon in the top right of the screen and click the sub menu called ''Settings''.
- Your screen will now display the "My Devices" list where you can now make your desired changes. Under "Visibility" you can select whether the particular device should appear in menus or not. A click on the ''Edit'' button allows you to assign a catchy nickname for your gadgets. In the Play Store by default you'll often see your gadgets listed rather unexcitingly as "Unknown Device" or just by model number. By assigning a nickname you can see at a glance which smartphone/tablet it is.
- When you're done with the awarding of nicknames, you just have to click the "Update" button to apply the changes.
Voila! You are done and now have a much clearer overview of all your devices and the apps that are installed on them!
