App Update Opens Internet Browser

Hi all. This unusual activity has started happening recently. Whenever I download a new app from the Google Play Store, or an app gets updated, the Internet browser opens. I know this isn't the worst thing that could happen but it is rather annoying.

Does anyone know why this has started and how do I stop this?

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and I've had it for about 3 months.

All help gratefully received!!!

try clearing the application data stored by the internet browser you can do that by going to the task manager>downloaded> (Select the browser you are using) and clear the cache and the data stored by it !!
