i want to restart my android device programmatically is this possible? help me...thanks in advance

There's an app for that... It's called Schedule Reboot, funnily enough, free on the play store. It gives the option to fast reboot on screen off or on (basically shuts down all running user apps), or to schedule a full boot.

thanks for your reply that, i don't want to root my device.And then that playstore application asking anything like "Do you want to root your Device?", help me

For an app to have the ability to reboot it would need superuser authority, and therefore root.

You check that application, is there that play store application asking anything like "Do you want to root your Device?".or what else its asking if that app asking anything like that it wont be helpfull for me,

If your phone's not rooted then you won't be able to use an app like that. Like I said before, for any app to reboot your phone it needs root authority; only system apps have that on a non-rooted phone.

You can't use an app to reboot without root. You can use a script to reboot but you need root to run a script. So basically, if you don't want to root your phone you have no options.
