A Factory Reset can be done in a variety of ways, either through the settings menu, dialer or with hardware buttons if you're having screen or boot issues. The simplest form though is when you do it through the built-in settings. Here's how.
Note: Make sure you've backed up important data and apps before resetting.
- Go to Settings and find Backup and Reset (under Privacy).
- Check the backup and restore options if you like, depending on what other backup strategies you have used.
- Hit Factory Data Reset.
- Hit reset tablet to Confirm.
- Hit Erase Everything to start the reset.
- Your device will restart with factory default settings.
Alternatively, you can type in *2767*3855# on the key pad and that will do the same thing.
Let us know if you have any problems.
