Hi all,

Thanks for having me in your community and I hope someone can help me with this issue.#

I have a brand new S5 and have just rooted it using this method :
download.chainfire.eu/397/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f.zip

Since doing it and disabling KNOX using Super SU, I can access playstore and search apps but cannot download anything.

I tried to download a root checker app, click on install and accept, it says downloading but I get nothing in the status bar and it just hangs forever with no error codes.

Can someone help please?

Thanks.

EDIT:

After a long time, i now get error (495)

FIXED

Took it back to o2 and it was missing "some settings"

He texted "active" to 2020 and no more issues.

He said it is quite common for the phone to have anomalies until the settings are all downloaded.

you can try installing a VPN app in your device (sideload it if you can't download. Also clear data and cache, and remove and add back you Google account.
