please i need help with my nexus 6 5.0.1 ..... i have one question that if i root my device and if a software update arrives ... will i be able to update my mobile fon .. please some one help

Any OTA (oficial) update depends on your phone being stock. When you root it, you alter the firmware so it won't be stock. To update it you'll need to either return to stock or flash a custom rom of the update (there are always plenty on XDA), both of which are simple enough.
