It takes about ~3-5 seconds to load a simple sound, which size is about 20-40 KB (96kbps). Then imagine the delay having 100 or more sound files like that.
Lollipop has a new experimental media player called NuPlayer under Developer Options -> Media, where normal user can't even find that checkbox 
Using NuPlayer it loads instantly, otherwise takes about forever.
Versions before Lollipop doesn't have problem with loading sounds.
Did anyone notice the delay in loading sounds on Lollipop? Is there anything that can be done to improve loading time on Lollipop?
