Samsung Galaxy Tab — How do I remove google button with microphone icon from home screen?

I have this feature completely disabled yet the button persists on my home screen, it is located on the bottom left corner as shown in the attached screenshot.
With it being disabled the button now does nothing when you click it therefor I would like to just remove it from the screen.

I have been unable to find any information on this anywhere but I hope someone here has a solution.

All google services are disabled on my tablet, no its doesn't seem to be a widget, it isn't movable.
