How do i keep my sync from coming back on and reducing my battery life?

It should be in settings/accounts, you can toggle sync there per service.

I've done that already everything is set to sync off but it randomly turn my sync on and before i know it my battery is half gone when it could usually last me a whole 24 hours without charging

i have a LG optimus G , in the settings there is a part "Accounts & Sync" your phone should has it too, try there.
Other thing is i don't know how long is that you have your phone , because maybe the battery can be already done with its battery life, that most of the time is one year. or if you are using the right charger for doing the respect load to the equipment because sync things on my phone doesn't make battery gone so quickly, just saying, but is strange.

It all started when i got the upgrade to lollipop ut i shut my phone off and turned itback on and so far it hasn't come back on so i'm hoping that fixed ito ly had my phone a few months now
