Galaxy S5 G900V Lollipop 5.0 Verizon Firmware: BOE1
Okay, a while back, not sure exactly when, my orange smile face for emojis just stopped working, when texting with the stock messages app (Not Red Verizon Messaging+ app) I can still use the microphone and long press select the smile face and all emojis come up immediately. But it was so much easier to tap that orange smile face in the text box while texting. Another odd thing happened at exact same time. (I wish I could show a screen shot) but it was a tiny black outlined smile face showed up in the emojis box as the first emoji face. When I tap on it, a black little outlined smile face shows up in text box. Exactly like the one I'm tapping. Have no idea where it came from.
Things I've tried:
Cleared partition cache.
Cleared Data in Messages app and restored settings.
Did the same as above with the Samsung Keyboard.
Disabled Verizon Messaging app
Uninstalled FB Messaging app
ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE??
