Motorola Moto G 4G — Stuck in aeroplane mode but not actually on

Unable to make calls or get network. Sim works in old phone. Says to make calls turn off aeroplane mode but its not actually on. Already done a reboot and cleared cache. Any help, please.

Try resetting the phone to default mode before trying this see if you can turn aeroplane mode off first and put your Sim back in your new phone ok

Ok, I'll give that a go. Can you tell me how I do this? I can't turn off the aeroplane mode as its not on. It just says it is when I try to make a call.

I've done a factory reset and that hasn't worked. EE technical support no help, I have to phone them back tomorrow.

Anyone have a clue with this is caused by? I did a factory reset still can't use the phone. Crap.
