Android Capturing image from VideoView RTSP Live streaming

Hi I am using an IP camera with wifi and I am streaming the RTSP video to a videoview . Does anyone know how to capture an image from the live stream. I have tried getting the frame from media player and it was giving a distorted bitmap. How can I take a picture from video view.?

I can help you with this as I've worked on RTSP streaming already. Are you using Vitamio to stream?

Hi I am using vitamio and I am streaming the m3u8 video to a videoview (not surfaceView). Does anyone know how to capture an image and video from the live stream.
