So I replaced the charging port on my S5 and believed to have followed the instructions as much to the T as possible. However now the phone will power on, but the menu light doesn't work (may need to just readjust the rubber pad, and the screen turns on gives me notifications, but will not respond to any touch. So I can't type in my password, check out the notifications, or even power off the phone without taking out the battery. I believe the connections are all good and the phone charges now so at least I got that right, but is there something I am missing? The copper paper or whatever it is "tore" off with the corresponding copper on the board but did not rip off and was able to sit back down where it seemed to originally sit. Other than that, I don't believe there was anything that changed.
