Quick Office came with the phone and there are a few silly yet tolerable problems with it.
I am constantly being reminded that it is obsolete and unsupported. Google Docs is offered.

Can Google Docs be used off line?
Other than updates, will I ever have to be on-line?
If I don't like Google Docs, can I return to Quick Office?

I am never on-line except for updates once a month or so. The only use for the phone is, believe it or not, to make phone calls. Well I also make a grocery list and take an occasional picture.

Ok, this is the first indication that there is an off-line answer. Is this a different program than the on-line one or is it justa setting?

As a follow up to my original post.

I updated to Docs v 1.7.273.03.34 and a lot of the problems went away. Although work about 99% of my time off line, I have to create the file while connected to Wifi.

I would love to know how to turn off the AutoMisCorrect "feature" It takes up valuable screen space and interferes with my typing much more than it helps..

One more: I create an excel, both in the phone and on my PC which I uploaded. I can see the spreadsheet icon but it is grey and I cannot access it. Any fix for that?
