Hi,
May I ask you a favor?
I often use Google Maps in my android smartphone (Samsung NOTE 4) to find my car in an open parking lot with GPS reception. The steps include:
1) Find and click the icon for Maps
2) Turn on GPS
3) Click the compass-looking icon in the Maps
4) Keep pressing the current location until the red balloon (=location) appears
5) Click on the red balloon again
6) Find SAVE (star) and click to confirm “SAVED – Dropped Pin”.
After returning to the place,
7) Click on Maps
8) Click on menu (3 horizontal bars)
9) Click on Your Places
10) Click on SAVED
11) Find the possible address (usually the first is the latest)
It is a little challenge to a senior like me to remember and perform the above steps on the road.
So, I would like create an icon to perform batch job that simplifies the above multiple steps into an icon or two.
My question is:
What’s the best way for that? Do I need to learn JAVA that I have no experience?
Are there any Apps that can do the job?
Can either MatLab or equivalent (Mathematica, for example) do the job?
How about Python or MIT-AI (App Inventor)?
If you can give me a lead to this issue, that would be very helpful. If there are any simple example or sample codes, that would make my job much easier.
Thank you very much,
Gene.
