Hello, community.
I want to root my device so as to recover the deleted WhatsApp data with a WhatsApp recovery tool. I have tried several root tools like Kingoroot, Kingroot and One-click root, but all failed.
Has anyone rooted this device before and succeed? How to do that?

It is a little complicated. The stable version does not support ROOT. You should first unlock your device on the official website. Then download Development version and flash your phone.
Check the tutorial on Huawei official forum.

According to your advice, I found tutorial on the Internet. Yes, it do need to go to the official website to request unlock permission. After I read the tutorial, my god, it is too too too complicated!
