Hi,
two days ago I have reset my old Samsung Note 2. Before doing it I have made a backup of the Whatsapp folder. I don't want to put again the old messages on the phone but I would like to have the possibility to read the messages on my computer. I read that the database message is encripted and that I need the key; anyway I saved only the whatsapp folder and not the entire phone content. Is there a solution? I have installed again whatsapp application! The question is: can I use the key that is actually on the phone after the reset?
