Hello everyone,
I just made an account to ask this question. Whenever I'm in a video call with someone, their volume significantly drops (might as well be muted) for a good two seconds when there's a sound on my end. It could be me talking, my child making noise, or the television. It's probably a "feature," but I miss a lot in those two seconds. When I ask them to repeat what they said, the same thing happens. It's extremely frustrating and hard to communicate in a video. My 8-month old loves making noises, and I can't hear my mother over it. The entire time there's a noise on my end, the other end is muted.
I've scoured the WhatsApp settings and couldn't find a way to turn it off. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp. I've cleared my cache and have routinely tried force stopping the app. I love using WhatsApp for its features, but this is getting to the point where I want to stop using it.
I appreciate all your feedback and help!
