Yea... I tried to root my S5 Mini with the KingRoot software as well as the APK, both said failed, I tried several times and it all yielded a fail, then I tried rooting with dr.fone pc software, I got the SuperSU app installed somehow, it asked me about permission and stuff, I just said yes. Still all root apps said that my device wasn't rooted so I looked up the internet, found some Odin 3 step by step guide, it noted a download that required Marshmallow, I have (had) Lolipop 5.1.1, so I update my phone through Smart Switch on my PC. Bricked phone.

It is stuck on the Samsung boot screen, where it says "Samsung GALAXY S5 mini and "powered by android" not the Samsung logo thereafter... This is pretty sad but I did backup my phone before this in Dr.Fone software, yet to my surprise, I can't restore it because I have a trial version, it's fairly costly, and I don't even know if it would works.

So, what now? My phone is done, everything is deleted forever?
