The "i" or the "info" button at the top doesn't show on my whatsapp group chat, so i can't see whoever has read my message. what should i do about this?

Do you mean that you can not find the 'Group info' window?
If yes, tap the menu button(three points icon) at right-upper corner of the group chat window, and then select 'Group info'. Or simply tap the group name at the left-upper corner.
