Clicking email sends me to my pay pal account.

Did you try clearing all your emails from the app, then turning off all active apps?
Sounds like you used email to connect to pay pal and you left the connection open.

By clearing all emails I ment,
Read them then delete them from all your files in your email app. Even your trash file.
Then go to your active apps and turn them off. (You should do that Every time you are done using your phone, it will save on battery life)
When you these things it should shut down the connection between pay pal and your email app.
