Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime received Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in September 2015, almost a year after it was first released. Only the G830P and G830W models got the update, however, the G530F and G530BP are still waiting.

Though the Galaxy Grand Prime is only a year old, as one of Samsung’s cheaper, mid-range handsets, there’s a chance it won’t receive an official Android Marshmallow update, although the emergence of a custom ROM is likely. An article from Venture Capital Post speculates that it get an update from Samsung, but this is unconfirmed.

We'll keep you up to date on the status of the Galaxy Grand Prime Marshmallow update, but for now we're waiting on an official announcement from Samsung.

Do you think that the Marshmallow update will come to the Galaxy Grand Prime? Let us know in the comments.
