I was stupid enough to not buy an HP TouchPad over the weekend during that crazy sale at BestBuy. I know the chances are close to zero, but would anyone know of a way to still buy one for that price somewhere online? would be glad for any pointers and tips. thanks!

Forget about it, buddy. There's no way in hell that you can get your hands on one now. It was a one-off thing.

I poked around eBay and there are some people selling it for around $250, but I wouldn't spend that much money on it. The $99 deal is a thing of the past.

This sale is going worldwide so maybe you could get your hands on it in other countries. Hp Germany and HP Canada are conducting similar sales, but they are probably going to out of stock too.

I wouldn't be so sure that the device is completly dead. There have been rumors floating around that they might run another line through production before they start a new series of Android-native tablets.

Check this article out for more info:

But after the hype around the $99 deal I doubt they'll drop the price that low. They've had too much good press from the action and can ask what they want for the tablet pcs now.
