CES: What To Expect From 2012's First Android Event
The day is just dawning in Las Vegas and AndrodiPIT's own Fabi is getting ready to throw the doors open on this years Consumer Electronics Show, one of the biggest electronics shows the world over and our first chance to see what 2012 will bring the Android community. Fabi just wrote the first entry in his CES journal and gives us a taste of what we'll get to see in Las Vegas as soon as the doors open.
Las Vegas is just starting to wake up and the sounds of city life are seeping into my hotel room. Cars are rumbling past my window and you can just make out the sound of airplanes taking off and landing. The city is slowly rubbing the desert sand out of its eyes and you get the feeling that it's going to be a bit more dynamic then normal here in Sin City. Over 100,000 electronics fans have descended on Nevada's casino mecca for this year's CES.
AndroidPIT made the trip to Las Vegas for you to check out the latest developments, trends and rumors in the Android community. We'll be reporting live from events like the upcoming LG press conference or the Samsung event scheduled for 2 PM local time. Don't miss our coverage of the Nvidia event later in the day, where we're expecting to see more from the new Tegra 3 line. But today's most important event will of course be the Digital Experience, where we're sure to see some of the new devices that we'll be talking about throughout 2012.
No matter what the CES has in store, AndroidPIT we'll be bringing you all of it live with photos, videos and much, much more.
It's a little after 7 AM and, while the city is just waking up, I've been up for hours (thank you jet lag) But it's just as well. I've got my first appointment in an hour....
CES Day 1, here we go!
