Adequate, but there are better alternatives.

Not quite there yet I was hoping for something that might be comparable to Textastic on the iPad2 that my wife uses. I was willing to live without SFTP as long as I had some decent syntax highlighting. That's where my disappointment begins. Syntax highlighting is only available with the paid version. Fine, no problem. I purchased it. The syntax highlighting for PHP leaves something to be desired. If you're used to something like gedit, Eclipse, Coda, etc., you'll be disappointed. Any new code I enter is WITHOUT syntax highlighting. I find Terminal IDE using vim much better, and if you can live without an inverse theme (light text on a dark background), which I cannot, then TextWarrior is also a good alternative. On my Galaxy 10.1 tab I initially noticed some flaky behavior in this app. The tab key was not working neither via softkey nor docking keyboard. After pulling up the Terminal IDE softkeyboard, it started working with the other keyboards. Also the first time I played with syntax highlighting it was incredibly slow (no other apps were running). I haven't seen this before since then however. I'm really sorry I paid for this app. I like Terminal IDE much better.

Good and simple I would love more edditing options and converting spaces to tabs as well. Other than that a really good app.

Works well, but could use more features Does what it says, with no signs of instability. In the future I would like to see find/replace functionality added with corresponding keyboard shortcuts, and for rooted users the ability to create/modify files stored within the / and /system directories. Five stars for pioneering Some improvements need to be done but as it is totally pioneering the edition on honeycomb tablets, it deserves it. I use it to edit my bash scripts for chrooting on my tablet.

Good start, needs some work to replace free Jota Good syntax highlighting. Works well with hackers keyboard. Needs option to disable word wrap. Closes app when switching orientation and forgets current working file and directory. Recent file history and block selection mode would be nice.
