Description
Atari 2600 VCS emulator based on Stella 3.7.3 (GPL), designed and tested on the original Droid/Milestone, Xoom, Galaxy S2, Nexus 7, and Xperia Play, but works on many devices with similar specs.Features include:
* Save state support, auto-save and ten manual slots for save states.
* Supports ROMs in .a26 and .bin formats, optionally in ZIP files
* Joystick and Paddle controller emulation
* Configurable on-screen multi-touch controls in addition to keyboard controls (up to 4 touches supported at once), and an Xperia Play optimized button layout
* Multiplayer-capable Wiimote/Classic Controller/Wii U Pro Controller, iControlPad, and Zeemote JS1 support (Wii controllers not yet working on Android 4.2), also works with any generic Bluetooth/USB gamepad supported by Android
* Portrait/Landscape auto-orientation support
No ROMs are included with this app and must be supplied by the user. A number of public domain games/demos are available at www.pdroms.de. Transfer games anywhere to your internal storage/SD card and browse to them from within the app (default SD card directory is /mnt/sdcard).

Awesome! But... I have over 1800 roms, therefore a search/filter feature would come in handy. Also, the recent list is useful, but I'd rather have a favorites list. Looks like it doesn't read the ROM properties, which usually have a lot of interesting info. Apart from that it's working flawlessly so far, screen controls are really smooth, games show no stuttering. Looks like the current technology finally caught up with the Atari 2600!

Pal ROM speed problem Works great on NTSC ROMs but PAL ROMs play too fast .. they should play at 25fps. Love being able to use wiimotes for controllers. GREAT JOB :-)

Great emulator! This emulator is really nice. If I had one request, it would be to support DPC+ games, since one of my homebrews is made with it.

Works great.. no crazy permissions.. Just bought. Runs better than other 2600 emulators. I agree a C64 emulator from this dev would be interesting...

Essential I absolutely love the Atari VCS and this is a tremendous emulator. It works perfectly on my Xperia Play. Well worth the pennies it cost!

Wonderful Woody Great emulator, loads of screen/control options. Extremely high compatibility, special carts such as Pitfall 2 work brilliantly.
