Wow! & Thank you!!! I am moving from a "not-so-smart" phone in one pocket and a PDA in the other pocket with 'Mobile Crossword' using Graffiti for character entry. I wouldn't have switched to a smart phone without a good crossword app... I read the reviews online and decided to give Crossword Plus a try. I need look no further! 1. Most important, it handles .puz files (and states so clearly in the online description). * I have accumulated probably 1K puzzles over the years... * It puts puzzles on my SD card in a folder where I can add my collection. 2 It has a very rich set of settings to make it act and look like I want. A couple of nits to pick: 1. Oh, how I wish I could use Graffiti for input! * I found a great app ('Graffiti on Android') that essentially replaces the virtual keyboard for almost all apps, however 'Crossword Plus' seems to have its own keyboard. * Actually, when I enter a 'SYM' for a square, the interface does go to my Graffiti input (...oh, so close ;=( 2. For a bit, I really could not figure out how to switch between the vertical and horizontal entry until I turned on the 'With arrow navigation keys' option for the 'Keyboard Layout' Settings.

Way better than paid apps Have tried many paid apps and this is so much better -- better ui, more stable, and way easier to use my existing puz files. Kudos! Do you have a donation box? You deserve $$ for this great app.

Cumbersome Downloading Downloading puzzles here is too cumbersome to what I was used to with Shortyz. But I had to leave that one because it worked terribly with the S-Pen.

Beats all the other Crosswords Apps!! With the latest upgrade, this is absolutely the best Crosswords App for my Galaxy Tab 7.7 and a NYTimes feed. It uses all of the screen real estate properly and has all the needed navigation options and hint and reveal options that a player could want. And it's free to boot! I also installed (and paid $9.99 for) Stand Alone's Crosswords and, although it's full-featured too (and excellent on my iPhone), it's display is way too small on my Tab, with no configuration option (it puts all the clues on the side of the grid no matter what). Also, the Crosswords Plus developers are amazingly responsive -- or at least were in my case -- literally implementing every request/suggestion I had in this latest version. Give this a try and save your $$. You'll be glad you did.
