Description
Ship's Bell rings half hourly bells in the traditional Naval patterns, and displays the current watch so you can keep track of your Naval day.- Select a watch system from the Royal Navy (pre or post Nore Mutiny), Merchant Navy, or US Navy
- Choose from 3 bell sounds
- Choose for bells to ring, device to vibrate, or both
- Define times when the app will be active, so you won't be disturbed outside these times
- Control bell volume through standard Android sound profiles
Use the optional widget to track the current watch on your homescreen.
Excellent for active sailors, veterans, and Navy enthusiasts!

Impregnated with AdMob While this program sounds nice, it's sadly loaded with AdMob spyware. Thus, you are reporting your location back to AdMob, whenever this program is installed and running. Also records and reports device information. Constant Ads when on Ship's Bell menu page, eat precious bandwith for cell users on limited data plans. Dear Mr. Programmer: very nice implimentation; but how about a paid version without the ADMOB crap. PLEASE?

nice but a few glitches On my Atrix, this app doesn't obey the Mute button. I silenced the phone at a concert, but the clock still chimed. also I think there's a problem with the Watch System setting; I get Dog Watch displays for all systems. I still like the app; I'm a sailor, and the nautical chime gives a smile.

Great for its type, pretty good overall. [Droid Incredible] ✔ Very simple app. ✔ Does what it says using a clean uncluttered UI. ✔ Nice set of sounds. ● What else is there that it could do? I think this app touches all the bases. You can't misstep by trying it!

It's Great Being ex M N I have been looking for the watch/bell app to put onto my Galaxy Note - well I found it with this one - my compliments to the developer - the dog watches are rung correctly and the tone/speed or ring of the bell is the sound one would hear at sea.

Love it! I've been in the Navy for while now and this App helps me think about the ocean.
