The application has access to the following:
Network communication
full Internet access
Allows an application to create network sockets.
view network state
Allows an application to view the state of all networks.
Your location
coarse (network-based) location
Access coarse location sources such as the cellular network database to determine an approximate phone location, where available. Malicious applications can use this to determine approximately where you are.
fine (GPS) location
Access fine location sources such as the Global Positioning System on the phone, where available. Malicious applications can use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.
Your personal information
write calendar data
Allows an application to modify the calendar events stored on your phone. Malicious applications can use this to erase or modify your calendar data.
Hardware controls
take pictures
Allows application to take pictures with the camera. This allows the application at any time to collect images the camera is seeing.

I agree that the timing BeFoRe the conf could have been better, but this doesn't affect that the app was quite handy to have AT the conf. Thank you!

Online planner problems keep the score down. Had too manny problems accessing existing planner.

They should have released the app before the conference started to test it. Poor planning on the part of a tech conference.
