So what exactly does the word MORPG mean? What sounds like a mystical name in fact stands for ''Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game''. Once you install ELGARD - MORPG, you'll realize that its size is actually quite small. This has to do with the fact that the APK, found in the Play Store, is in endeffect nothing more than downloading files from the internet. The game's entire size is just over 250 MB. In terms of the data size, I would like to bring something very important to the reader's attention. Since there is high volume of data that needs to be downloaded, it will result in some ''traffic''. That being said, we recommend to play ELGARD - MORPG at home or with a sizable data plan, because under certain conditions, playing can be quite restricted.
After the necessary files have been downloaded you can get started. ELGARD - MORPG offers here (following the style of a good RPG) a series of different classes, which all bring their own advantages and disadvantages, as well as individual skills and fighting styles. Along with assassins, you'll have rather feeble fighters at your disposal, whose job will be to eliminate the potential sources of harm from enemies with fast and precise attacks. Knights have the task of protecting the rest of the team and to intercept most of the damage.
It's at this point that I feel it falls short of the expected tactical level. This could have been achieved by adding various races with their own values and skills.
After you've been brought up to speed on ELGARD's story by small inserts, you'll be guided through a tutorial, which gets the player acquainted with the world within the game. It's a relatively complex game with many facets, where you interact with other players at the same time. The tutorial does a really good job up to the point when the character says something important and it takes a very, very long time to appear.
ELGARD - MORPG permits you to purchase advantages in ''exchange'' for real money, even though I've never really had to through any major losses in order to have fun playing. On the other hand, one aspect, which could really have an effect on the game, could be the consistent server crashes and loss of connection. It's well-known fact for experienced MORPG players that this type of situation occasionally occurs; the server sometimes has its ''down'' times. This happened during our test and the developers quickly responded, fixing the problem in only a short time. This is something that I really need to compliment them on and it definitely boosts their final mark.
Other than the problems mentioned above, ELGARD-MORPG proves to be really well-made, bringing back some nostalgic memories. It's certainly a classically designed RPG, in which fights are in real-time and players are really captivated.
Generally speaking, ELGARD is really fun up to midgame. We can't really tell whether the endgame is able to hold a candle to the first hours of playing. This has to do with how you would like to play the endgame. If you're a solo-player, you'll eventually reach an invisible boundary of what you can do. The number of updates and improvements also play a key factor in the evaluation of the endgame. Every test, which performs an evaluation of the endgame without extensively following up on it, is questionable. Therefore, we want to make this fact clear and ask any ELGARD players who are reading this to leave their comments behind.
Bottom Line
ELGARD is fun! Like I mentioned above, the developers did a lot of really great stuff. The game is consistent and leaves a very good impression on the player. The one and only question that remains unanswered is the one concerning the endgame. This isn't ELGARD's fault, it's simply the nature of MORPGs.
