Need improvements but ok If I could take the UI from PocketCast (PC) and the stability from DC I would have the perfect podcast app! The UI on DC just plain stinks having to long and/or search through tons of configuration options to complete a simple task is a pain. Downloading is so slow that you need to let it run over night to complete. Not being able to play video in portrait mode is major issue. It's difficult when I need to charge my phone and watch a video and landscape is my only option. Also, no video resume feature. On a positive note this does have more features and podcasts than PC and some some will take you to a website to play the latest episodes ie..Shark Tank. Overall this is a good app. I just hope they take the next 3 months or so to totally revamp the UI.

Use it, but it keeps getting worse Controls are becoming more convoluted - different menus from each screen in the app, some are only tiny icons and are not available through the menus. Crashes a lot switching in and out of Bluetooth. Unprotected, by an Ok/Cancel pop-up, functions which apply to all podcasts.

Aces Great app, great devs. Last update nuked my feeds. Emailed the devs and they worked for 2 weeks nonstop until it was fixed. Even sent me custom patches. Love DC!

My favorite app Would like a more cutomizable widget. Last update was a step in the right direction. Perhaps more widget sizes with album art, etc.

The best. Really appreciate the Google Reader integration! Little annoyance for feeds with many items is that the GUI doesn't give the little thumb scroll tab so you're forced to paw your screen to get from top to bottom -little, but it gets tiresome by around the 5th time when you know a solution exists. Still, 5 stars!

Used to be great. Went bad, real bad. This is the first app I ever purchased for Android and for quite a while it was my favorite as well. For the last few months and probably the last dozen releases it seems as though everything possible has been done in an attempt to make this my most aggravating app. Stability has fallen like a rock through the sky to the point I use an external player more often than not. On my Asus TFP this is the one and only app that manages to bring the Tegra 3 to it's knees until ICS eventually asks me if I'd like to kill it. I purchased both BeyondPod and Pocket Catcher in an attempt to find the glory that once was with Doggcatcher, but they both have issues of their own. Even so, I'd rather suffer from a missing feature or two than deal with crashes and hangs all day long.

Works as expected, can be made better... For a podcast Android tool, it does what it has to do, interface is easy to use, but some options are cumbersome, and are not very customizible as desired. There are many updates done each month, but there are some things on the todo list since long time. Still prefer BP on this one, but for $2 and having that money donated to EFF it is ok,
