Description
TxtArchive lets you archive, search and backup text (SMS) messages, so that you can delete them from your inbox, knowing that the ones you want are safe. While continuing to view them on your phone, you can export them to your SD card or email address.Unlike other “backup” or “save to email” applications, TxtArchive is a true archiving system. Messages in your inbox can be copied to an alternate short-term database that resides on your phone. Once archived, you can continue to view the messages even after deleting them from your inbox. This allows you to keep your inbox clean and fast.
For long-term safe keeping, you can export the archived messages to your SD card or email address. You can archive and export all of your messages, with the click of a single button, or select individual messages or threads. You choose what and when to archive, how long to keep them on your phone, and what and when to export. All while keeping your inbox clean and fast.
We are unaware of any other SMS application that has this capability. Other SMS applications simply backup or copy. They do not archive, first to an accessible database on the device, and then elsewhere for safe keeping - thus the name TxtArchive.

Force Close Constantly crashed my txt msg. Uninstall. Want refund but didn't make time as phone crashed and spent half hour taking our battery and trying to get it to uninstall.. Galaxy S2

It work's Was looking for text back up that I could convert to printable format for a court appearance, and the fact that it does this via email in order of conversations was perfect.

Best App Ever!!! Thank You. If you're in a legal situation such as divorce, custody, child support, harassment, etc, and you need evidence to help your case with courts or with police. Then this app is for you. User friendly on my Galaxy Note.

Incomplete Won't restore backups after the app has been uninstalled and reinstalled. No way to browse for a txtarchive file. Until they add that this app is effectively worthless.

Hot Diggity Dog Wow this is a life saver, need a way to get sms from phone to text, so I could give them to my lawyer. Does it in one swoop instead 1at a time. Thanks so much.

WOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I would have found this app 24 hours ago... i would have saved myself much frustration trying to figure out a way to easily save and email texts msgs to myself. I'm a veterinarian and have a new smart phone (LG Mytouch Slide) and have been communicating with clients by text msgs. I need to keep record of conversation for legal reasons and to keep chart up today, there was NO way to do it on my phone... even called Tmobile for info, they said msgs could not be printed out... tried copy/pasting msgs, but had to do one at a time and some msgs in a thread would not copy... in desperation i searched the android market and found this app. Just downloaded and installed and tested it out..... AMAZING!!!! All my msg threads from the past month were automatically in my inbox, easily archived and emailed to myself.... WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

Just tried to restore from SD card backup did not work, when I changed phone, did not work totally worthless, Do not buy!!!

LOVE THIS APP I've used this app a long time, simple easy to use and easily transfer file to my computer. Thumbs up and just fixed so I could add to my new phone. :)

Great app Works like it says. Will send a copy to your email then you can print! Even has time and date stamp on every message! Wish it worked for blackberry!
