Description
This is a front-end to the Deeproot Plant Base Online web encyclopedia. It is a useful resource for gardeners and landscapers, with over 10,000 plant records.Plants are selected by entering all or part of the name, either the Latin botanical name or a common name. Then just select from the result list.
For greatly extended selection criteria to enable more advanced plant selection, please look at the PBO Viewer PLUS edition.
A dedicated data interface is provided for the app, so that it uses the minimum bandwidth possible, usually about half that of the regular web pages.

A plant database that didn't know what a Paphiopedilum or a Phragmipedium was?! Pathetic! Uninstalled.

Brilliant! The paid version has more options for searching types etc, but great for a free app! >>>Excellent 5 STARS<<<

Limited Would like to see photos of all varieties and to be able to search by plant needs and by identifying features.

Actually works! I bought the plus version, but uninstalled because it couldn't find some very common perennials even with the botanical and common provided!
