PodTrapper Podcast Manager

No support or updates I've been using PodTrapper for 2+ years now. It's been used to be a reliable way to keep up on my business news and other fun podcasts. The dev has disappeared. There is room for improvement. The UI is old and BB oriented. The menu should be consolidated. I have stopped using it out of frustration when it started telling me that my license was expired. But there is no way to verify and no reply to email.

Ugly but awesome I've been using this software for many years on a couple of platforms. It has always worked great, but the lack of updates and woefully lacking UI design left me searching for alternatives. I bought a couple of the premier competitors. They look great and work well, but they just don't have the fine-grained control of playback and podcast management that this old dog does. So I'm back to using PodTrapper day-in, day-out. If you can get past the UI, you'll find that this app really does everything.

Stopped working It stopped working saying my registration was expired. This was not a trial.

Excellent Reliable & easy to navigate. I use it every day.

Losing stars... While great as a base with a myriad of options, it's sadly in need of an update. Over a year with no update...come on. UI needs a complete overhaul to compete with the likes of podcaster and others. If the developer has abandoned, the price should be reduced to. 99 to reflect that. I would look elsewhere at this point.

Best appear on the market Love this appear. Couldn't be happier. Only thing it needs is a more up to date browse directory.

Buy DoggCatcher Instead Bought PodTrapper. Received failures to update the one and only podcast I pay for. Bought DoggCatcher. It works better. It has a better UI.

needs fixed! Bluetooth on galaxy nexus doesn't work. Emailed developer, never heard back. This app has been abandoned by the developer....

Love it Been using this app for years, first on BlackBerry, now for over a year on Android. UI might not be as polishedas other apps, but if you listen to a lot of podcasts. This is the one.
