Perfect! I can have the gallery auto rotate without without the other apps moving. Makes perfect sense!

Must have One of the first things I download on a new ROM, must have if you switch your rotation. Sam Goldstein, in jelly bean camera is in the gallery package, set gallery to rotate and camera will to.

Great and easy, but missing some apps. Great app that works like a charm - except that I don't see Camera on the list, which is one of the apps I wanted to be able to make a setting for. Still, better than not having this app, as it works for other apps (e.g., Maps) that I wanted to set.

Needs one thing I second the need for a default option on new apps or a way to lock the settings of the few I don't use as auto, other wise essential app for document viewing and remote desktop.

It's what I was looking for! Hi, this is a great app, it's a missing setting that should come by default. I'm running Android 4.2.2 and I had to reboot to get it working and of course previously enable auto-rotation :)

Doesn't seem to work with Daydream Great app, been looking for exactly this solution for a long time. Most apps I prefer to stay in portrait, except for some individual apps I prefer to use in landscape. I prefer choosing the mode and turn the phone as appropriate myself, the auto rotate function is too slow and doesn't work when the phone lies flat on a surface or you're lying down using it. One of the apps I want to use in landscape is Clock (or Clock+) in Daydream, but they completely ignore the settings set in this app. Nexus Galaxy with stock Android 4.2.2
