The application has access to the following:
Phone calls
read phone state and identity
Allows the application to access the phone features of the device. An application with this permission can determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to, ect.
Your location
coarse (network-based) location
Access coarse location sources such as the cellular network database to determine an approximate phone location, where available. Malicious applications can use this to determine approximately where you are.
Network communication
view Wi-Fi state
Allows an application to view the information about the state of Wi-Fi.
full Internet access
Allows an application to create network sockets.
System tools
change Wi-Fi state
Allows an application to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points, and to make changes to configured Wi-Fi networks.
automatically start at boot
Allows an application to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the application to slow down overall performance of the phone by constantly running.
Hardware controls
change your audio settings
Allows application to modify global audio settings such as volume and routing.

"Saving New WiFi ..." puzzle For some time now I've been puzzled about a message that pops up on my screens that says, "Saving new WiFi ..." where "..." is the name of the WiFi router. It would pop up every 5 minutes or so, and I suspected it was related to my TF700T slight sluggishness and tardy response to touch. I finally tried uninstalling Proximity WiFi to see if that was generating the message, So far - no message. Has anyone else noticed performance hits when using Proximity WiFi, or do they see this message? Three stars because I have no evidence that it was doing what it's supposed to do. Update: I've just discovered that I also now have my power-saving screen blanking timeout back! I wondered why my screen wouldn't blank after 5 minutes inactivity; it was Proximity WiFi that somehow turned it off.

Sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes it disables wifi when in the white zone. Quite annoying. Uninstall now.

It will connect with chosen access points as stated. But it keeps enabling wifi randomly when I am driving around. It drains my battery like crazy.

Works pretty good actually on the 720XT. A battery monitoring widget flattened my battery not this. Will donate soon.

Works pretty well, but not quite perfect yet. Saves on battery though!
