Faster than any other free RTA Fast, reliable, and relatively precise. Enough for a free app, get pro for more.

Got my hopes up, but unusable Love the clean, professional interface and lack of ads. Sadly, this app seems to think my dead-silent room is redlining at nearly 0db. Attempts at calibration haven't helped either. Can't figure out the reason, as there is no other evidence of my microphone behaving abnormally. No other app (including half a dozen other RTA audio apps) or activity involving the mic shows any sign of issue. A shame, this looked like the exact app I was looking for.

No dB DB is counted in minus, why? Surely any sound is positive!

Excellent app! It works great on my Samsung SCH-i100 phone! This app is very sensitive to the sounds picked up by the mic. I tried picking up the music from a couple of mp3 songs in which I want to raise the beat of the percussion. I was very impressed with how well it could keep up with the flow of the audio and it showed the frequencies of the instruments and sounds I wanted to raise. For the occasional use of finding the frequencies of instruments, voices, and sounds, this is a great app. Please note that this free app is the standard edition and a pro app is available for a few peanuts more. I'm very happy with the standard and have no desire to go beyond 30 frequency bands.
