The game is played with a standard 52-card deck, plus a single joker.
The objective of Pai Gow poker is for a player to create two poker hands out of the seven-card hand he/she is dealt by the dealer: a five-card hand, and a two-card poker hand.
The bank splits his cards according to rules named the House-way.
If the player wins both hands he wins, if you win one hand each the game is drawn and the bet is payed back.
Equal hands are regarded as won by the bank.
