good magazine, terrible app this app has no way of closing it properly. it drains battery faster than ask my other apps combined and the audio freezes after every article. I had this app before for apple and had none of these problems

Shame: such a fine magazine with a ridiculous app The Economist excels at journalism but horribly fails at designing their app. Annoying freezes all the time.

Battery hog I concur with other reviews that the app is great as a companion to the print paper, but it totally kills the battery. Once the battery issue is resolved this will be a 5 star app.

Great content, terrible app It is much more convenient to read on the web. This is the worst-written app I have ever seen.

Freezes my phone Great app except I am constantly having to restart my phone after launching economist app!!

Bad bad bad.... All of a sudden all the downloaded issues have vanished....! Asking me to re-download all over again.... :-(

Only runs on ancient devices. No tablets. Does not run on Samsung galaxy 10 tablet. Does not run on latest galaxy nexus phone. Android 2.0 is ancient. How hard can it be to keep up with android, all the other app developers have no problems. This is the only app that I use which does not work.

Love the content but your killing CPU My phone is burning hot because of this app and battery wiped out.please fix! Otherwise perfect.
