CyanogenMod has just released experimental Android KitKat firmware for the Exynos-powered international Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500). The GSM S4 has received limited support from the modding community, primarily due to the Exynos chipset that powers it, wile the LTE S4 has received plenty of support. Nightlies are soon to follow the release of this test firmware.
This is good news for anyone with an international model Galaxy S4 who may have been starting to think they'd been left out in the cold. CyanogenMod posted last week on Google+ that they were close to finishing the ROM for the GSM S4 thanks to a hardware donation and the efforts of several CyanogenMod community members.
The test firmware is available for download on CyanogenMod's downloads page and can be flashed immediately. Despite being labeled as an experimental test firmware, the build is actually a Nightly build, meaning more Nightlies will follow. Just make sure you have a Nandroid backup of your current ROM if you want to test it out as there's no guaranteeing it's stable enough to use as a daily driver yet.
Have you got an international GSM S4 with Exynos 5 processor? Are you happy to see CyanogenMod support for your device?
